미주 한인 사회 대표 온라인 미디어 K-News LA의 자매지 Teen’s Press가 제3기 학생기자단(Teen’s Press Student Reporters)을 모집합니다.

모집 대상은 2026년 봄 학기 기준 7~11학년 학생이며, 기사 작성 경험이 없어도 지원 가능합니다.
학생기자는 한인 커뮤니티, 재학 중인 학교, 활동 중인 봉사단체 소식은 물론, 한국 문화, 환경, 도서 및 영화 리뷰, 정치 및 세계 이슈 등 다양한 주제로 기사를 작성할 수 있습니다.

작성한 기사는 심사를 거쳐 Teen’s Press 전용 웹사이트와 K-News LA 웹사이트에 게재되며, 모든 활동은 온라인으로 진행됩니다.

■ 활동 개요

• 활동 기간: 2026년 2월 ~ 7월 (6개월)

• 지원 대상: 2026년 봄 학기 기준 7~11학년

• 지원 방법:

  • 지원서류: 500자 이내 영문 자기소개서 + 사진

  • 제출처: editor@knewsla.com

• 신청 마감: 2026년 1월 31일(토)

• 참가비: 400달러 (6개월 전 과정)

■ 활동 요건

• 월 2회 기사 작성 및 제출 (총 12편 이상 필수)

• Teen’s Press 뉴스레터 제작 참여 및 공동 발행 (월 1회)

■ 활동 혜택

• 기사 게재 및 전문 편집 피드백 제공

• 프로그램 종료 시 수료증(Certificate of Completion) 수여

 Teen’s Press 3rd Student Reporter Recruitment

Teen’s Press, a sister publication of K-News LA, is now accepting applications for its 3rd cohort of Teen’s Press Student Reporters.

We are looking for middle and high school students (grades 7–11 as of Spring 2026) interested in journalism, writing, and community engagement. No prior experience is required.

Student reporters will write about the Korean American community, their schools, volunteer organizations, Korean culture, environmental issues, book/movie reviews, global affairs, and more.

Articles will be reviewed and published on the Teen’s Press website and the K-News LA website, and all activities will be conducted online. 

■ Program Details

• Activity Period: February–July 2026 (6 months)

• Eligibility: Students in grades 7–11 (as of Spring 2026)

• How to Apply:

  • Documents: 500-word personal statement (in English) + photo

  • Send to: editor@knewsla.com

• Application Deadline: January 31, 2026 (Saturday)

• Participation Fee: $400 (6-month full program)

■ Activity Requirements

• Submit two articles per month (minimum 12 articles in total)

• Participate in the production and co-publication of Teen’s Press monthly newsletter
